Eutrochium dubium

Coastal Plain Joe Pye Weed

Eupatorium dubium, also known as Coastal plain joe pye weed, is found growing along the eastern coastal plane, usually within swamps, bogs, wet meadows and open woodlands. Eupatorium dubium is an upright perennial which usually grows from 2-5' tall. The unbranched stems of this Eupatorium species is topped with a dome-like corymb of pink, lacy flowers. Coastal Plain Joe Pye Weed prefers full to partial sun, and well-drained but consistently moist soils. This Eupatorium species does not have hollow stems.
