Marsh fern is a short rhizomatous fern that forms beautiful colonies that wander around other obligate perennials and sedges. Each frond stands 6-12” tall and in mass creates a soft lime green hue. Thelypteris palustris is a great addition to a marshy pond edge where it has enough room to colonize. Tolerates full sun to full shade and is hardy in zones 3-10.
